Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)

Did you know that 25% to 30% of the population has high-sensitivity personality traits (HSP)? Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) tend to be deep thinkers, but this can make decision-making and small talk feel overwhelming.

Too much noise, clutter, and overstimulation can take a toll on their well-being.

Many HSPs are also deeply emotional, often people-pleasing, and struggle with low self-worth. But there’s a silver lining: HSPs often possess incredible compassion and empathy for others.

However, their sensitivity means they have a low tolerance for stress and may quickly go into a fight-or-flight response, especially when faced with trauma. This can be draining and even harmful when people-pleasing goes too far and neglects their own needs.

But there’s hope! In this week’s podcast, I speak to Sally Conway who shares some simple ways to break the damaging cycle of people-pleasing and rebuild healthy boundaries.
